Tomica No.109 Volkswagen Polo (Custom UV Printed / Volkswagen Polo R WRC Livery Version)

Product: Tomica No.109 Volkswagen Polo (Custom UV Printed / Volkswagen Polo R WRC Livery Version). The base Tomica No.109 casting was released in 2013, with this particular piece later given a second stage of customisation by a professional customiser using industrial-grade UV printing. This is a custom toy car work, not an official TAKARA TOMY mass-produced release.

Where it could be obtained: As a customiser's work, it was never available through official flagship stores, department stores or regular toy shops. Such pieces are typically sold individually by their creators at diecast custom shows & Facebook model communities.

Livery and craft: The livery faithfully reproduces the Volkswagen Motorsport Polo R WRC that competed in the WRC (World Rally Championship), featuring the large "R" emblem, WRC event logos, Castrol and VW badges. Compared with traditional water-slide decals, UV printing sprays ink directly onto the painted surface and cures it instantly with ultraviolet light, giving richer colour saturation, stronger adhesion, better durability, and finer edge detail that resists bubbling and peeling over time.

Box note: The packaging shown in the background is a custom display box designed and printed by the customiser to accompany the UV printed model.
