Tomica Town - Car Washer

Product: Tomica Town - Car Washer (Japanese: トミカタウン カーウォッシャー), released in 1996 during the classic red-box TOMY era. Official retail price at the time was approx. ¥980 (tax excluded). An early Tomica Town diorama accessory, with the box carrying the old white TOMY logo and a "96" marking.

Where it was sold: A regular retail item sold broadly in Japan and overseas, including Hong Kong department store toy counters, Toys"R"Us and traditional model shops, available for direct purchase.

Features: Wind-up mechanism with no batteries required, as marked on the box (※乾電池は使用しません). Wind the knob (ゼンマイ) on top and the washer sponge brush (ウォッシャースポンジ) inside rotates, carrying the car forward to recreate a real car wash.

Note: As marked on the box (※トミカは入っていません), no Tomica model car is included; the green Honda Prelude shown in the box art is for illustration only.
